The Magical Work of Wedding Suppliers…
Today I wanted to show you some behind the scenes photos from our epic shoot at the beginning of the year at Aynhoe Park; a unique private home full of art curiosities in the Oxfordshire countryside.
It was quite possibly the biggest creative project Ive worked on! Collaborating with the visionary talent that is Alex from The Bijou Bride, we pulled together 23 Mr & Mrs Unique wedding and event suppliers to take part on the shoot. We wanted Wow factor styling and edgy bridal fashion to make your heart sing!
I think its always great to take a peek at what goes on behind a big shoot, as its very similar to what will go on behind the scenes at your own wedding day… food needs to be prepared, outfits tweaked and venue styling needs to be perfected!
Aynhoe Park embodies British eccentricity at its best, something we wanted to encapsulate in a really feminine way with this shoot; setting our own unique decor and installations within the art and curios filled spaces of the house. Contrasting bold statement design such as the incredible balloon and flower arch Bubblegum balloons & Early Hours Florist created, amongst the stuffed rocking horse zebras, Union Jack flags & larger than life statues.”
Alex of The Bijou Bride said “Many of my client’s want their wedding to be the ultimate party, so it was such fun to take that concept to its most wild and lavish with this styled shoot. The mood board I created for our dream team of suppliers encouraged them to contrast softness with edgy design, think pretty but in an unexpected way.”
I was lucky enough to work with an incredible team that day…we certainly pushed out the boat with extraordinary dessert tables, awesome neon and gold sequin wedding cake, a huge balloon and floral arch way and the most amazing flowers Ive ever seen!
