We love weddings and adore nothing more than seeing the imaginations and creations of brides and grooms come to life at Escheat Farm – we’re a blank canvas venue with a little bit more.
We’ll provide you with 4-day access to the 2.5 acre grounds at Escheat Farm which not only includes our paddock and meadow fields to host your choice of canvas (Yurt, Tipi, Bedouin Tent, Marquee, Circus tent – you name it you can have it!) but also the orchard, 60ft natural pond with striking blue bridge, island and landscaped gardens full of beautiful blooms, pergolas and a plethora of locations for those all important photos.
We effortlessly provide the perfect backdrop for a rustic / vintage / woodland / country-garden wedding for those who dream of a unique boutique day, however the landscaped gardens and vistas of Escheat Farm equally as easily lend themselves to a more classic affair with the use of a traditional / lined marquee.
The very nature of Escheat Farm means you can create a truly unique day by customising our grounds with your choice of styling, setup, catering and canvas. Whether you dream of an outdoor blessing under the canopy of our Orchard fruit trees, a flower laden arbour affronted by hay-bales, a wedding breakfast provided by a plethora of street-food stalls in-front of a yurt, a five-course silver service affair in a sumptuous lined marquee or a party in a tipi accompanied by a hundred fairy lights and a fire-pit, you can have it at Escheat Farm.
We just love hearing about the ideas and visions of our brides and grooms to-be and helping to bring them to life. We guarantee we’ll be as enthusiastic and passionate as the fantastic people who choose to host their special day with us and do all we can to help create that truly unique and once-in-a-lifetime day that you’ll never forget. Oh, and we’ll also throw in the gorgeous free-roaming Escheat Farm ducks to entertain your guests!
It’s all outside and predominantly decided by your choice of canvas, but we recommend up to 150 guests at Escheat Farm.
As a 250 year old farm we’ve plenty of unique outdoor spaces including the natural pond that was originally part of a medieval moat and the backdrop of the farmhouse itself which was formerly part of the Duke of Bedford Estate. We believe that our varied outdoor spaces makes us distinctly unique to other venues offering land for an outdoor wedding and canvas reception.
