A Pink Glitter, London Elopement: Edgy City Bridal Style…

Edgy, Pink Bridal Inspiration…

What an awesome way to start the week by sharing this badass bridal shoot; an epic London elopement set on the back street of Shoreditch… perfect for couples looking to throw the wedding rule book out the window and do things their way.

This shoot combined everything I love about creative weddings… Pretty pink stationery, quirky wedding decor, tons of glitter and edgy bridal styling. Just check out those lush ‘Done Deal’ matching vintage customised denim jackets LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Over to the creative team behind the shoot Ellie from The Wedding Enthusiast and Charlotte from Redamancy Wedding Planning to tell us more…

Our inspiration was couples bedecked in sequins eloping in sandy Vegas scenes with bright lights, but we wanted to put a softer London twist on it, as we’re both lucky enough to call this incredible (mostly insane) city our home.

Our brief started from a main couple of shots we had in mind, which we shaped the shoot around – the icing-smudged invite was one, and the end scene in the cinema was another must-have.

In a world full of bland wedding veils and chintzy hair accessories, the new Rock n Roll Bride + Crown and Glory collection is super cute, full of glitter and bang on style. Rock n Roll Bride Magazine Editor Kat sums it up ‘it perfect for the kind of bride who wants to stand out, feel like herself and leave a trail of glitter as she stomps down the aisle!’ – YES!!!

Today we chat with the lovely Kat about the collaboration, whats new and we find out what her favourite piece is… (For me its got to be the Lovesick Glitter Birdcage Veil as seen above!)

First day at school introduction to Rock n Roll Bride & Crown & Glory and your collaboration together?

Sophie and I actually met at a blogging workshop I was hosting in 2012. She’s since told me she didn’t even want to go, her friend dragged her along! Well I sure am glad she did – ha! I knew who she was as I’d seen her products featured in Company magazine a few months earlier – small world. Anyway, the workshop happened and we went our separate ways, but we both kept following each other online. A little while later I wrote a blog post
