Today we share with you a really beautiful, woodland wedding held at The Abbey Home Organic Farm, in Circencester.

Festival loving couple Suzanne and Des, really wanted to bring their love for music and partying into their special day. With a gorgeous woodland ceremony, a tractor ride, hearty organic food and a glitter station; it was a joy filled day surrounded by their nearest and dearest. What was your favourite part of the day?

The beautiful ceremony in the woods.. It was very personal and laid back. 

How did the day unfold? 

They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony under a tin shack and all their guests were transported there by tractor and trailer! I absolutely love shooting weddings outdoors, there’s so much more freedom to move and I love being around the elements.

The celebrations continued back at the farm with delicious locally sourced food, speeches and a LOT of partying, including a glitter bar as well.

Was there an overall theme for the day?

They picked 23rd June as that’s usually Glastonbury weekend but as it was having a fallow year… it made sense for them to throw their own celebrations! These guys love a festival, music and a party and

How did the couple find you?

I met Zoë and Luke in 2015 at a wedding fair in Brighton. They won a competition I was running for an engagement shoot; we had it on Halloween in the South Downs. It was epic, we had red smoke bombs and made friends with some cows!

What was your favourite part of the day?

The piñata! I loved seeing both bride and groom bash the shit out of them with a bat and then they got all their guests to do the same. There were sweets and lollies flying about everywhere. I thought it was hilarious!

What was your favourite shot of the day, and why?

A close up portrait of the couple. I loved it because in all the craziness of the staged photos (we were doing smoke bombs posed ones in honour of their engagement sesh) they found the time to have this incredible unstaged moment and I was there to
