I was contacted by the lovely Kelly last month regarding new opportunities that has arisen within Belle’s Events!
Belles Event’s run unique and inspiring wedding fairs, vintage and retro events & makers boutique markets across Sussex. They strive to create an atmosphere of excitement, intrigue and fun. Belle’s Events was born out of suffering an extreme allergic reaction to average, boring & stuffy fairs full of chair covers and chocolate fountains. After creating a stir in the Vintage, Retro, Reloved and Makers scene, they are looking to expand!
Here Kelly tells us of the deal…
The concept it simple and could be the perfect project for you if you’re looking to work in the vintage, quirky, unique world of weddings and/or retro and reloved fairs. I have been hard at work for months, writing and rewriting, making decisions, google searching and generally thinking about how it will all work for someone else, but now I’m ready to share my baby!
The opportunity to join Belle’s Events is certainly not one to take lightly, it’s hard work running events especially with so many people running wedding fairs at the moment, BUT you will have a great time meeting loads of like-minded people, you will be able to work around your life, and the best thing about it all is that I have spent three years making a few mistakes, ones that you won’t have to.
We are thrilled that Belle’s Events Cheshire will be launching in Spring 2015 by our first franchisee Penny Parker!
What’s on offer…
The brand – you will be buying in to a business that has been running for over three years and you will have your very own Belle’s Events, be it Belle’s Events Oxford, Leeds, South Wales, East London, Kent, Edinburgh!
Expected annual turnover is £15k-£18k on a 3/4 day a week planning, 6-8 wedding fairs, 4-6 vintage fairs and selling advertising.
Belle’s Events has around 5100 unique hits per month on the site and this is increasing monthly. Joss is planning a new, more fabulous site as we speak!
All event concepts and guidelines on how they are to be executed.
New concepts, minimum of 1 per year.
Part funded advertising through joint magazine and on-line adverts.
Design for flyers and banners.
Advice on free listings on national sites.
Free use of blog on request, guest posts could be weekly/monthly/bi-monthly.
50% of any guest bloggers fee’s.
Your own page on the website and events listed with links to your social media.
Social network set-up and advice.
Your own Facebook page, for example Belles Events Devon. This will of course be supported by us with sharing and liking shout outs. Your own twitter account for example @vintagebellesoxford.
Moo business cards.
E-mail support by Kelly, at least one meet up per year or more on your request.
Advise on business banking, tax and events insurance.
And most importantly, a very large and easy to use Belle’s Events HANDBOOK!
What Kelly is looking for in her franchisees…
An interest in what the brand stands for.
An interest in blogging.
An understanding of events co-ordination and marketing.
An interest in vintage, retro, makers and wedding fairs.
An understanding of protecting a brand.
An understanding of social media and how important it is in today’s business world.
