Mexican Bridal Inspiration…
Today we have got a corker of a bridal photo shoot to show you… one of Mr & Mrs Unique’s very own!
Towards the end of last year we got together with some of our amazing suppliers to create a Mexican/ Day of the Dead inspired bridal shoot.
The reaction from our sneak peeks was phenomenal and I was super chuffed to have the photos appear on the rather awesome Festival Brides Blog.
We haven’t yet shown the photos in full yet, so today is the day that we do that with you…
It was such a fun shoot and it all came together after meeting up with the lovely Katherine who owns Arabian Tents who wanted to create a photo shoot to showcase her new Latin American marquees, which were heavily inspired by Mexican and Argentinian influences.
‘I love bright colours, and love creating interiors that will lifts your spirits when you enter them. Being a huge fan of South American fabrics, colours and designs combined with the popularity of street food instead of the standard sit-down meal, the fashion at events for bright pops of colour on white backgrounds, and the opportunity to theme it with delicious rum-based cocktails, I’m hoping the new Viva La Fiesta interior will really make parties go with a swing.
My best friend is Argentinian and on our recent road trip together, we found ourselves at a place called Salta which produces lots of tribal textiles with the most amazing patterns using natural dyes and bright colours which triggered the idea of a Frieda Kahlo style, South American interior.
I knew Natasha from Nevie-Pie Cakes previously mentioned she wanted to create a Day of the Dead inspired wedding cake, so I knew we had good grounds to build up an awesome team of wedding suppliers to take part in this shoot.
The team included the amazing photography skills from Hector & Charlie from We Heart Picture, some lush OTT flowers from The Basement Florist, The spectacular cake and cookies were created by Nevie-Pie Cakes, beautiful make up by The Beauty Aisle, gorgeous hair by Simply Beautiful Wedding Hair, floral stationery from Russet & Gray, some eye catching gems from Polly Wales Fine Jewellery, bright textiles from Montes & Clark, not forgetting the two amazing dresses from Wilden Bride and Minna.
Im hoping this shoot has you swooning all over the place!!! Make sure you check out all the suppliers that took part… i don’t mind blowing a trumpet for them, they are bloody EPIC!!
Enjoy and happy Friday peeps Xx
