Cultural, glitter filled celebration…

Today’s wedding is eclectic, stylish and fun – right up our street!

Rox & Kev wanted to ensure their day included a mix of their unique traditions and passions; A traditional Catholic service followed by a disco-inspired reception, and unique Iranian catering. Oh, and the Bride’s outfit – LOVE!

Why you love this wedding…

An extremely lovable couple mixed with unique variety of styles and cultures made for a very original day. I had so much fun.

What were the couple’s requirements…

Other than getting some dancefloor action it was a very relaxed brief and left me free to capture as I saw fit.

Favourite details of the day…

The belly dancer was so much fun

Favourite moment of the day…

It had to be Nan watching the ceremony via a video call in the church. They stopped to wave on their way back down the aisle and seeing Rox get emotional was very touching.

Tell us how you met and got engaged…

We met in a bar in the Northern Quarter, Manchester over a pint of ale and some jazzy trousers. Our engagement took place in Wapping, London – underneath the silts of the Prospect Of Whitby Pub on the beach of the River Thames, the night before we were picking up the keys

The Woodland Wonderland Wedding of Emily & Ian…

Woodland Tipi Reception…

Today we’re bringing you a gorgeous outdoor wedding full of homemade details, set in Emily & Ian’s very own garden!

From a traditional church ceremony to a personal back garden reception, all in a breath-taking tipi from World Inspired tents – one of our amazing suppliers! These tipis are an awesome alternative to a traditional wedding marquee which also look absolutely magical when the sun goes down, and they are lit up by beautiful lights.

Why you love this wedding…

Emily & Ian’s wedding is one I won’t forget in a long time. The day started with epic views out to sea as Emily got ready. I was then spoilt with a stunning church, a beautiful setting for the reception, handmade details, contributions of friends and family from the transport to live music, heart-warming and hilarious speeches and then an epic dance-off.

I knew how hard Emily & Ian, with the help of family and friends, had worked to get their house and grounds ready ahead of the wedding. I think the camaraderie forged during the build up contributed to the incredible atmosphere of celebration on the day.
