Most photographers will offer you an engagement shoot as part of their wedding photography packages, and even if you’re camera shy it is well worth doing and will help on your wedding day as it helps you build a rapport with your photographer and puts you more at ease. And, like with this shoot it can be a great way of doing some ‘Save the Date’ shots to send out ahead of your invitations – these fabulous ones that Emma at Emerald Paper Design created matched our vintage colour pop feel beautifully.

For this engagement shoot we had a lot of fun at a local antiques store – it was a great place for props and made the couple feel relaxed as it wasn’t too ‘staged’ – they just had fun looking at all the curiosities
