Iscoyd Park, an award-winning venue on the Shropshire-Wales border is inviting couples to attend a special open afternoon this month which will take the form of an actual wedding.
There are still spaces left for the event taking place at Iscoyd Park, near Whitchurch, which will be running on Sunday September 28, 12-5pm.
Phil Godsal, who co-owns and runs Iscoyd Park, said that all couples are welcome to visit and take part in the festivities which will follow the format of a wedding.
“The aim is to give couples undecided on where to get married a flavour of what they might expect if they choose Iscoyd Park as their venue,” said Phil.
“The team here will run the open day as we would a normal wedding, with guests given a glass of bubbly on arrival, canapés, the opportunity to explore the house and gardens, and to meet the staff.
“We try really hard to ensure that each and every wedding is exactly what the couple has in mind – we would like to think we’re doing something right as we’ve had a fair bit of success in competitions.
“For instance, we are delighted that Iscoyd Park has been shortlisted for Best Venue at this year’s Perfect Wedding Awards, and is a past winner of Hudson’s Heritage Awards in the same category.”
