A Tattooed Beauty with Attitude!!
We have a gorgeous bridal shoot to share with you today! Gorgeous bridal separates against an industrial backdrop using a moody colour palette of teal, copper, dove grey tones with soft peach and apricot accents. Lush!
Over to Gemma from Gemma McAuley Photography to tell us more about the shoot, the inspiration behind it and some top styling tips…
Inspired by our tattooed model Vicky, whose individuality and personality shone through and our surroundings – an industrial mill, the working studio of ‘Print for Love’ – we decided to create an inspirational shoot which brought together the many diverse personalities of the team involved. With such an eclectic mix of creatives and by using unconventional styling props such as the paper hummingbird by artist Jack McLaughlin and burnished steel cages we managed to combine the quirky with conventional- beauty with attitude!
The use of bold copper foiled brush strokes softened by calligraphy adorned the stationery suite designed by Print for Love Letterpress and set the tone of the day.
Pompom Blossom created the backdrop of hand-dyed tissue tassel garlands, along with the hand-dyed silk fabric and silk ribbon
Our ‘real models’ Victoria & Helen were dressed by Areles Bridal.
The copper brush strokes on the cake by Flecks’ added another metallic touch and continued the theme.
