Rent Event -Wedding, Party & Event hire company is based in East Sussex supplying a massive variety of unique, vintage and wonderfully fun items throughout Sussex, Kent & Surrey

Oriignally inspired by our very own festival wedding we decided to carry on the dream by setting up Rent Event and spread the love of all things quirky and fun for couples to hire to make their magical day have the true wow factor

We are a one stop hire shop for your festival, outdoor, unique, marquee, boho, barn or woodland style wedding

Offering a huge bariety of fun things to hire, furniture, funfair games, bouncy castles, photo booths, props, vintage games, light up letters, rustic décor and so much more

As well as this we offer pop up accommodation solutions for your big day by creating bell tent village so the party doesn’t stop after the disco

In the spring of 2016 Rent Event was born amidst the crazy renovations of our new family home we still managed to get everything up and running

Introduce yourself…

I’m Kelly Kearley owner of Not Your Average I Do. I’ve worked in the events industry for as long as I can remember, however my passion has always been for weddings, I love love! We strive to be different and stand out from the crowd and this can be seen in all our services from our bespoke styling, to our lighting options and our huge range of props in our Wedding Warehouse. This year I’ve introduced wedding planning workshops to help those couples who want to get stuck in and run their wedding from start to finish. I love sharing my knowledge with couples and setting them up with everything they need to make their wedding day a success.

What are a few of your favourite things?

I love my family, a good glass of wine sitting round a log fire, the sunshine and travel.

But my passion is organising and running weddings and events. It is in my blood. I started at 15 organising the sixth form leavers ball and haven’t looked back!

This year I’m really loving copper and have built up a beautiful range of copper wedding accessories – including table centres, table plans, cake stands and glass votives. I think it looks beautiful set against fresh foliage, soft white drapes and festoon lighting.
