So, what now!? With all the excitement of getting engaged, usually comes a truck load of stress too. To help you out, we’ve got some top tips to make the most of your engagement, how to get ahead with your wedmin, and tackling the finer details…

Questions, questions, questions…

Before you’ve even started showing off your ring the questions will come flooding in… ‘Have you set a date?’…’Am I invited?’…’How did he propose?’…Everyone around you will be super excited so get ready for your engagement to be the topic of conversation!

If you don’t want to give too much away, or you haven’t made any decisions yet, come up with a blanket statement to use whenever someone comes pestering. Something like “We’re looking at having a Autumn wedding but haven’t worked out the finer details yet” or “We’re just so excited being engaged right now”. They should get the hint!

At this point, hold off inviting anyone or making them part of your wedding party. You can’t really un-ask someone to be your bridesmaid, so really take the time to think about it.
