Industrial Romance Wedding Inspiration at The Abbeydale Picturehouse…

Abbeydale Picturehouse…

Over the next couple of weeks I’ve decided to share with you some of my FAVOURITE shoots to date! I’ve had the pleasure of working on some incredible bridal shoots alongside Alex from The Bijou Bride,  the educators at Photography Farm and also with the epic Rock n Roll Bride Magazine fashion team.. and I can’t wait to show you!

Today, I’m going to start with a Photography Farm shoot day at The Abbeydale Picturehouse in Sheffield.  I’ve always loved quirky venues; ones that are unique and ooze character… and the Picturehouse has this in buckets.  The former 1920’s theatre and dance hall is one of  Sheffields most iconic buildings. Mr & Mrs Unique suppliers Innercity Weddings have been working closely with the Picturehouse for the past few years; using the venue for some incredible weddings and events. With its cinema seating and stunning light its an ideal location for couples looking for something a bit different for their day.

In fact, why not book it in your diary to go and see the venue yourself! They have an Wedding Open Day on Saturday 5th Oct 2019 – 11am till 3pm. See it as a chance to view this epic unique venue and talk to the Innercity Weddings crew about all things wedding!! Contact Ellie to find out more HERE

Our girls style is a huge nod to one of my all time favourite icons; Frida Khalo, a strong, expressive woman who likes to style things out a little differently, the perfect muse.

My recent travels to Mexico inspired this set up; an abundance of cactus, colour and collected skulls and woven traditional blankets. I fell in love with the vibrancy and relaxed vibes of the country and wanted to capture this through the images.

I wanted the shoot to be free and vibrant, to show that the wedding preparation should be pretty a pretty brilliant and fun time. Your bridal portraits can be what ever you want them to be, expressing exactly who you are and your current inspirations and passions.
