Pretty Event Letters & Paper Goods…
We love Doris Loves light up letters! Not only do they come in a range of cool colours, they are unlike any others available due to their light-weight construction and battery powered lights which make them easy to move around at any wedding or event.
Amanda from Doris Loves…
Since moving to our new industrial unit in East Hoathly we have LOVED having giant white painted breeze block walls to photograph our Light Up Letters against. However, there’s only so much magic you can create with an iPhone. So we knew we needed to arrange a shoot with a pro and who better to pick then the amazing Jessica Milberg. Jessica and I met at the first major Doris Loves photoshoot back in 2014, when she second shot for Sarah London Photography. Having kept in touch since she was the first person I contacted when putting this shoot together.
Next we needed to add some colour and who best than the colour POP queen that is Bijal from Pop Pop Papier. When I met B from Pop Pop Papier at the Belles Events Wedding Fair in Brighton in Spring 2015, I knew we’d end up working on projects together. I just loved her beautiful and colourful paper creations and how creatively they were displayed. We have since worked on serval projects together including the awesome Maids to Measure party.
The theme for the shoot was simple we wanted to give brides, grooms and party planners everywhere some colourful inspiration of just what could create with the help of some banging colourful backdrops from Pop Pop Papier and some Doris Loves Light Up Letters.
Pop Pop Papier created two stunning backdrops for us to play with. The first a feast of peach, pink, orange, polka dot and white balloons. All strung together to create a balloon cluster that would look spectacular at any wedding or event and could be created in a whole host of colour ways. The second was created using a huge range of her famous tassel garlands, these can be created in an endless combination of colour ways and each is handmade at her Tunbridge Wells studio.
The final touch was adding some sparkle which Bristol Vintage kindly provided with their selection of glitter balls. When those bad boys caught the light the effect was what party dreams are made of!!!
The day was full of laughter as we played with the letters creating a whole host of words to display and give those brides, grooms and party planners inspiration of just some of the many different combinations you can create using our battery powered light up letters. Including our recently revamped luxury love range – with our GOLD set now extra sparkly with its new coat of even more sparkly metallic paint and our BRAND new Retro White LOVE set. As well as our ever popular Red and White retro and Classic White sets.
